When questioned about his professional background, Joel referred to himself as "a jack of all trades." A student at ASU, he had worked a variety of different jobs and had never thought he would work in the furniture sales business. Then, after a couple of classmates from his high school told him about the amazing income they were making at La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, Joel decided to look into it. Fifteen years later, he says, "Success does not happen overnight." In sales, each month was good, but not always great. However, each month got progressively better. As a current Regional Manager of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, Joel can look back at his career and say, "It has been a remarkable experience."

A member of the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries team for years, Sarah offers the following advice, "It's up to you how well you are going to do. Each customer has different needs, you need to bring your 'A Game' every time." When asked what makes the La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries team so great to work with she said, "We really believe in the product we are selling and we really want to make the customer happy." Randy represents the epitome of what it means to work as a team. Even though he holds an executive level title with La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, Randy won't hesitate to help his co-workers lift a chair into a delivery truck. When asked about his relationship with his La-Z-Boy co-workers, Randy replies, "It is a family. It really truly is like a family reunion." He believes that the emphasis on the company values of CKS is La-Z-Boy's strong point. "It is all about the employee knowing how to take care of a customer. Not when there is a problem, but so that there won't be one."
