Knowledge & Training

La-Z-Boy sets its employees up for success from the very beginning by providing an intense, comprehensive training program including sales, management, and leadership training. During your first three weeks, you will complete a New Hire Orientation program consisting of the mastery of five modules: Company Culture, Product Knowledge, Operations, TWI Sales Process, and Design & In Home. Supplemental training in various forms will continue to be offered during your first year at La-Z-Boy:

• Computer-Based Training (completed in first 3 months)
• Sales & Design Training (two day program to be completed within first 6 months)
• Weekly Training with your Manager
• EBCO Development Program (once per month)

La-Z-Boy strongly believes in the leadership and management potential of all of their employees. To develop and enhance your leadership skills, La-Z-Boy will have you attend two three-day leadership workshops with Rapport Leadership International during your tenure with us.

 

In-Home Design - Making a vision a reality

Since 1998, the La-Z-Boy Design Council has been building beautiful rooms in our clients' homes. In fact, we have created over 10,000 beautiful homes to date. What began as a small service offering has now become an integral part of our overall success.

La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries offers free in-home design services to all of our customers to help them create the perfect room in their home. Our design professionals go out to the customer's home to do a thorough consultation with the customer about their furniture and decor needs. We not only assist with selecting the perfect fabrics and colors for custom furniture, we also help the customer choose the right lamps, tables, and accent pieces.
